CMF role – Diversity and Inclusion
Olivia has over 25 years’ experience in children’s media, across Amazon, the BBC, Nickelodeon, Moonbug, Sky Kids, Outright Games and Playtest Games.
At Digital Olive, she freelances as a digital consultant, producing games for kids and specialising in running playtest sessions of games for 4-12 year olds, delivering detailed reports for kids’ game developers and game publishers.
She also offers consultancy for children’s content makers on how to ensure programmes and products are inclusive. She has extensive expertise in how to challenge inequalities in childhood, as a key member of the Let Toys Be Toys campaign.
She leads the Inclusivity Working Group at CMC, is a member of the executive group at The Children’s Media Foundation, has an MA in Early Childhood Studies and is on the board of non-profit UK Feminista, who work to tackle sexism in schools and combat commercial sexual exploitation in the UK.
