Steve Middleton

Steve is a twice Bafta-nominated children’s animation script writer/editor and content creator who has worked continuously in the children’s television industry for the last 27 years. He has also, along side his partner Jill, been a local authority foster carer for 20 years and has cared for over 30 children in that time, all with a wide range of complex needs. His passion unsurprisingly, therefore, lies in representation, and giving children the opportunity to see themselves in the media they watch and engage with, whilst at the same time, striving to ensure that space is as safe and enriching for them as possible. He is thrilled to be given the opportunity to join the CMF executive group and to help in any way he can.
