Yearbook Launch

The Children’s Media Yearbook was launched at an event in Salford University, Media City UK, on May 1st.

Panelists were contributors to the Yearbook, including Joe Godwin, Director of BBC Children’s, Melanie Stokes, joint MD of Kindle Entertainment, and the Editor of the Yearbook, Dr. Lynn Whittaker of Glasgow University.

The panelists were unanimous in thinking the Yearbook a valuable new initiative, bringing together the kids’ media industry, commercial and academic research, key institutions and associations and providing all parties and the public with a “publication of record” for years to come.

Sales of the “big green book" were brisk.

You can buy a download for just £7.95 or a hard copy for £10 plus p&p:

A big thanks to Dubit for their sponsorship of the drinks at the launch.
