Venue: NSPCC HQ, Weston House, 42 Curtain Rd London EC2A 3NH
Time: 6 pm for 6.30 to 8pm, followed by drinks.

The second in CMF's bi-monthly series of public discussions on kids' media issues sees Kay Benbow Controller of CBeebies, Julia Posen Commercial Director at Walker Books, Professor Carrie Peachter Author of "Being Boys, Being Girls", campaigner and inclusion consultant Beth Cox and campaign group Let Toys be Toys debating the ways in which media consumption and related activities -like toy sales -limit children's view of gender rather than enhance it.

It's going to be lively and informative, and we want to hear your views - so come along and join the discussion.

Entry is free to all supporters and patrons of CMF, £10 for everyone else. More information and registration here. The drinks reception afterwards will allow plenty of time to meet the speakers and your fellow participants.

You might want to think about becoming a CMF supporter at just £25 per year, which also gives a you a free download of the Children's Media Yearbook. It's worth the expense if you plan to attend two or more CMF events in the next 12 months. Join as a supporter or patron here.
