The CMF at the CMC
Yes, we're at the Children's Media Conference this year - and you could be too!
CMF Director Greg Childs reports...
Many people think that the Children’s Media Foundation and the Children’s Media Conference are the same organisation. Not really. I run the Foundation and my other job is as CMC Editorial Director, organising all the content for the Conference. Some of our Exec members are also on the Advisory Committee for CMC. But we are in fact two separate organisations.

As a sponsor, the CMF will be running a Conference session on July 4th on the future of the BBC, with the provocative title “Charter Renewal: the Great British Sell-off?” (see Angela Ferreira’s article below).
We’ll also be represented in a Conference debate on kids’ digital identity and security and the duty of care for internet providers like Facebook and YouTube.
As a “Supporting Organisation” the Children’s Media Foundation can offer all its patrons and supporters discounted tickets for CMC. You can get 25% off the full price by emailing our Administrator to ask for our exclusive discount code: admin@
Supporting the CMC costs just £25 for the year. On top of your CMC ticket saving of £85, you’ll also get a free download of the Children’s Media Yearbook (worth £7.95), and free entry to all CMF evening events - which normally cost £10 each. So you get your money back in no time - and we benefit from your support and donation.
