J M Barrie Award for Bernard Cribbins
CBeebies star and lifelong contributor to children’s entertainment on stage, film, TV and records, Bernard Cribbins OBE, will be receiving the prestigious J M Barrie Award at an annual ceremony hosted by Action for Children’s Arts.
The Northern Ballet will also receive an award, as will a list of individuals nominated for their outstanding contributions to children’s culture in the UK in the last year.
CMF supporters are invited to the awards ceremony in the BBC Radio Theatre, on the 13th November. There will be drinks after the event at a nearby venue. Attendees are asked to donate to ACA to cover some of the cost.
