If you're attending Children's Day (Thursday, 16 March) at the London Book Fair, the Children's Media Conference (CMC) is staging a series of sessions in the Children's Hub on the links between publishing and screen media. Look out for the first session of the day Brexit Late Breakfast produced by the CMF's own Jayne Kirkham. The seminar will feature a panel of experts considering the implications of Brexit for the creative industries and the kids’ market in Publishing, TV, Licensing and beyond. The final session at 4pm is produced by CMF's Angela Ferreira, with the wonderful author and illustrator Nick Butterworth talking about his journey from book to screen and back again via licensed products - some of which of course are books!

The CMC is also staging the CMC Rights Exchange at the Fair to connect publishers and literary agents with producers and broadcasters - developing new forms of partnership in the exploitation of IP.
