News from the CMC and Our Responses
Earlier this month the kids' media industry attended the Children's Media Conference in Sheffield.
CMF sponsored and produced the Question Time session which laid out all the major policy issues facing the kids' media sector in the UK. CMF activists also produced the Opening Keynote and several other sessions across the three-day event. The BBC used the Keynote to announce their commitment to invest £34 million into children's and youth services, which we'll examine in detail in this newsletter. It also informs our response to the recent Ofcom public consultation on BBC regulation, which also features below, along with news and views of other important sessions at the CMC.
