CMF@CMC – ‘Can We Fix It?’ Report for DDCMS
The CMF has produced an in-depth report on the insights discussed during the session "Can We Fix It?" which was held at the Children's Media Conference in July. The "Report on the Outcomes of an Industry Discussion on Internet Safety for Children and Young People" was submitted to the DDCMS on the day their Internet Safety Strategy Green Paper was launched.
It details three specific areas of interest: regulation, education, and technology. These themes indicated the panellists' and audience members' attitudes about the best ways to create a child-friendly internet - some of which were captured by a live opinion polling system at the event.
This is the first contribution to the debate opened by the governmental Green Paper on safer internet strategy.
