Research

CMF supports research to add insights to the Public Service Media debate. This report from Dubit, explores young people’s attitudes and concerns. Initial findings are summarised here: State of the Nation Exec Summary

Events

CMF staged a series of public events to debate the future of public service media for young people.

Th fourth event considered the implications of a generation unaware of what public service media is, how it is funded and why it should exist.

The third event considered the Young Audiences Content Fund and what might follow it.

The second event brought together research from Kids Know Best and a trio of experts to discus the screen choices of British 12-14 years olds.

The first event – on the future of funding – took place on 17th November 2021
