Research Group Meeting

This meeting welcomes researchers from the academic community and the commercial research sector to discuss the agenda which the Children’s Media Foundation should take in its support for and stimulation of research.
The CMF is an advocate for the positive role that media can play in children’s lives. We want to help parents make informed choices with respect to their children’s media and encourage policymakers to consider all available research.
The aim of the Research Group is to help the CMF support, collate, and disseminate research concerned with the provision and consumption of children’s media and the impact these are having on children’s lives.
The Research Group will meet twice a year, where possible in association with other related events, such as the Children’s Media Conference in Sheffield.
