CMF produced a “Question Time”- style panel on the issues facing children’s media – including the Contestable Fund, the implications of Brexit, new potential regulation and how to make kids safer online.

CMC 2018 – What’s Next For UK Kids? from Children’s Media Conference on Vimeo.

Produced by CMF’s lobbyist and Board member, Jayne Kirkham, the session was hosted by Stuart Purvis CBE and panelists were Angus Brooke (ITV), Anna Home (CMF), Charles Lauder (Indie Club), Ben Roberts (BFI), Simon Terrington (Ofcom) and a video message was sent by Margot James MP (Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries) and a text message  from Tom Watson  MP (Shadow Culture Secretary).

It  took place in Showroom Cinema 4 as the opening event on the first day of CMC 2018. Over 500 attended and a full report and podcast are available here.
