Is gender stereotyping stifling opportunities for media makers and limiting life-chances for kids?
In this second CMF Evening Event a panel of experts and industry practitioners will consider whether gender representation in children’s media is on a positive track, and whether children’s media producers, publishers and licensors are missing opportunities to reach a wider audience by always creating ‘boy-skewed’ or ‘girl-skewed’ programmes, books and toys? And does gender-stereotyped media limit girls’ and boys’ expectations, skills and aspirations?
