GuestThe snare drum produces music as per the producer’s wish. Catgut or metallic wires called snares are stretched tightly across the bottom or snare-head. When the top head of this unmusical drum is struck, the snares shake against the bottom head, producing a distinctive harsh rattling sound. A quality snare sound comes from a well-tuned drum with a proportional diameter to the pitch it is tuned to. You can create a bigger diameter drum high pitched by cranking it up, but the audio quality will quickly deteriorate. When these sounds are merged with music, it gives a beautiful soulful musical outcome. Hence, snare drums</> are widely used by musicians and producers around the globe!
