Maddy Darrall

Since moving on from the Walt Disney Company and co-founding Darrall Macqueen with Billy Macqueen in 2000, Maddy has devised, produced, directed and show-run many thousands of hours of children’s TV.  Her multi-award winning family shows include current global hits Baby Jake, Topsy and Tim, Waffle the Wonder Dog and Netflix animation Chip and Potato (season 2 recently ordered). Maddy has also produced and directed teen drama and comedy.  She co-devised Lovely Little Farm for a global family audience and collaborates with key creatives (writers, directors, designers, VFX producers) from script through shoot to final delivery.  Maddy is an Executive Producer with an experienced creative, operational and budgetary eye. Maddy has sat on the BAFTA children’s and games committees, plus numerous BAFTA juries and has been an industry mentor for Women in Film and Television.  She currently mentors Bristol University graduates wanting to take their first step into the industry.
